How much does a session cost?
The costs of sessions vary depending on a number of factors including insurance coverage, rates and type of therapy. Our counselor wan to help, so please contact us with questions regarding fees and payment, we would be happy to discuss our rates and services with you.
Will my insurance pay for treatment?
Our practice does accept insurance for payment on most treatment services. Depending on your coverage and benefits, your therapist can help guide you regarding your payment for services.
Who do you help and what problems do you treat?
Acceptance Counseling Services helps treat adults, teens and children. Our 4 therapists specialize in individual, group, family and marriage counseling with focus on treating all types of issues while focusing on your needs.
How long does therapy take?
Every client has different needs and different issues that they would like to address in therapy. There is no set timeframe to therapy and some clients find that continuing therapy sessions long term allows them to maintain the positive changes they have made through therapy. Some clients find that 6-8 sessions is all they need to achieve their desired goals while some continue therapy for years.
How am I able to do therapy during the pandemic?
We offer clean and safe options for all clients, regardless of their risk or concern for contracting COVID. If clients prefer to attend sessions in person, we offer 3 separate newly-remodeled office suites with separate waiting areas to maintain social distancing requirements. We also offer telehealth therapy sessions with any of our counselors where clients can participate in therapy in the comfort of their homes.
Can I use my insurance to pay for therapy?
Yes – We accept all major insurance companies, however the client is still responsible for any copay, coinsurance, or uncovered costs. We also accept most EAP program, which usually involve no cost to the client.
